AddAv Version 1.00
(C)opyright 1992,93 Atomic Software
Compiled in Turbo Pascal v6.0
Addav is a program with one simple objective, to convert compressed
files into PKWARE's ZIP format.
Addav has a simple configuration file that asks for the
location of several files, some files are included with the program
as it is distributed. The configuration file is setup like this....
1....Path to PKZip
2....Path to PKUNZip
3....Path to Arj
4....Path to Lha
5....Path to Pak
6....Path to Gif2Jpg
7....Path to Yep.Bat
8....Path to Recom
9....Path to Comment File
10...Path to Add in File
11...Path to PKZIP Options
1: Path to PKWARE's PKZIP.EXE
2: Path to PKWARE's PKUNZIP.EXE
3: Path to Robert K. Jung's ARJ
4: Path to Haruyasu Yoshizaki's LHA
5: Path to NoGate Consulting's PAK
6: Path to Handmade Software INC's GIF2JPG
7: Path to YEP.BAT, included with program
8: Path to Michael C. Loewen's Recom
9: Path to your BBS ZIP Comment File
10: Path to file to add into your .Zip file
I use AvExtra.Txt to show the file was verified and
downloaded from us.
11: Options to use with PKZIP
I use -! which is "Add -AV Code" and -ex so that
the files are maximally compressed.
Once you have gotten the config file done, your all setup
to run ADDAV! Addav's command line is very simple, simply run it
by typeing in..........
Addav Compressed_File Config_File
Example: Addav Work.Zip Addav.Cnf
If you donot have the file there it will simply run, but will not make
a file that doenst exist, the program has been tested for a few weeks
now and has gone through litterally hundreds of changes.
If you have any problems and or suggestions, please contact me via
FidoNet! at 1:261/1140 or at my BBS...........
